Creative ZiiO 8 GB 7-Inch review

Creative ZiiO 8 GB 7-Inch review

Creative ZiiO 8 GB 7-Inch Android 2.1 Wireless Entertainment Tablet (White)

I played around with Uncle O for some days now. Is not a perfect device. But it is really good for the money I paid.

First up - I was looking for a Tablet PC to watch my movies without having to bring my Macbook to my TV /movies and I have tons to recover. This is the real reason why I do not want to get iPad; 's expensive, the video is boring, and I think it is too hard after playing with it in stock.

I:.
- Support for a film that is more than what I need most of the mines that are in normal form, AVI, and spend about 6 minutes when using Mac iSquint to convert people into canonical form. MP4 .. a tablet with all that I need to do is simply drag and drop. Everything is just working and playing well.

- Card slot microSD: I have a 32GB with 8GB MicroSD Uncles O. It 'very convenient because the 32GB can hold a lot of video and music, and a tablet that you can play directly from microSD, do not need to copy it into memory. on-board memory to make it work.

- Apps: What is important here is the point - you must go to Settings> Applications for Android Market is not installed for that application. Is not enabled by default. When you enable this, just Google around for the installation file Android (APK.) and you will be able to install without problems. So far, I installed Evernote and points; Sync and everything works perfectly.

Some of you may have concerns about the availability of support for the Android Marketplace, which is not a big problem for me because a friend pointed me to a lot of getjar.com. APK files to download. Simply use your browser Uncles O to access the site will tell you to download and install. Need to use your computer at all, no (if GetJar prompted to select your device, simply select any device. Works well).

- This may be questionable. But I like my screen. This is not fiction, like capacitive touchscreens, but I will work with my gloves, and even better with a stylus that is provided, so I was happy with him.

- The other thing I like the sound quality is really good HDMI TV-Out, a 42 - inch of my screen, even if the video looks a bit 'grainy, something to blame on the original source.

What can be improved:.

- Does not include the 'Android Market (a small problem but the solution was my previous point).

- A little 'stingy on the contents of the package, I appreciate the stylus. It would be nice to put a pair of headphones, or even cable TV Out

- There are four touch buttons at the bottom for easy access to the "Home" button "back", etc. They should be backlit, so that I can see more clearly in the dark.
